Lucie Andersen-Wood, co-founder of the #WorldStorytellingCafe and the #Marrakech International #StorytellingFestival , explained the motivations behind the storytelling cafe’s launch as well as how the encounter with eminent #storyteller John Row gave rise to the #festival .
On the first day of the festival, Lucie, a #psychotherapist , and #hypnotherapist explained: “Storytelling is such an ancient art and craft, it’s so important for Marrakech and for #Morocco .”
The founder emphasized that the transmission of traditional tales about our morals, including how we ought to treat the outside world, our neighbors, and our friends, is extremely important.
“So I decided to bring everyone from the #storytellingcafe to the festival to meet and exchange stories with #Moroccanstorytellers ,” she enthused.
