The second edition of Global Food Week launched in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presiding over the official opening.
The expanded 2025 event spans over 33,500 square meters and features 2,070 companies from 75 countries, including 543 first-time participants, cementing the exhibition’s status as a premier international platform for sustainable food and agriculture innovation.
Morocco has maintained a substantial presence with its expansive 300-square-meter pavilion marking the kingdom’s 13th consecutive participation in the event.
The Moroccan exhibition showcases products from 32 cooperatives through 25 representatives, with women comprising 52% of cooperative membership. For nearly 60% of these Moroccan cooperatives, this represents their first international exhibition experience, creating valuable opportunities to establish export partnerships in Gulf markets.
The event includes several specialized platforms, including the 4th Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition, the 11th Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition, and new initiatives such as the Protein Alternatives Pavilion and Agricultural Investment Forum.
