Ahmed Tazi, Morocco’s Ambassador to the UAE, expressed pride in his country’s representation at Abu Dhabi’s Global Food Week 2025. “I’m very happy to participate and to visit this Moroccan stand,” Tazi told Morocco World News during his tour of the pavilion featuring 25 cooperative entities.
“About 75% of them are women and they have done amazing work,” the ambassador remarked, praising the quality of “natural products, biological products” on display. He was particularly touched that “some representatives have traveled for the first time in their lives abroad,” creating a milestone opportunity for rural producers.
“This is one of the factors that strengthens the existing good relationships between the two countries,” Tazi noted. The pavilion has attracted significant attention from Emiratis who, according to the ambassador, “are longing for discovering more Moroccan products because they love Morocco.”
“We appreciate a lot the people of Emirates and its leadership,” Tazi added, acknowledging the efforts of Morocco’s Ministry of Agriculture and National Agency for Agricultural Development (ADA). The Moroccan pavilion forms part of the larger Global Food Week event hosting over 2,000 companies from 75 countries at ADNEC.
