Royal Air Maroc Expands Domestic Flights Program
Rabat – Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc has announced the reinforcement of its domestic flights program, now set to operate domestic flights for 13 connections and with 56 frequencies per week. The Casablanca-Nador route will resume activity with two flights per week, on Thursday and Sunday. This line will be active as of tomorrow, July 26, according to a company source as quoted by Morocco’s state media. Royal Air Maroc will increase its Casablanca-Dakhla flights from nine per week to 10.  The Casablanca-Agadir line will go from seven to 11 flights per week, according to the same source. An increase will also apply to the Agadir-Laayoune line, with four weekly flights instead of two, according to the same source. In total, Royal Air Maroc’s domestic flights will link Casablanca with nine other Moroccan cities, including Dakhla, Agadir, Oujda, Laayoune, Errachidia, Ouarzazate, Nador, Tetouan, and Al Hoceima. Three lines linking four Moroccan cities to each other, including Agadir-Laayoune, Agadir-Dakhla, and Laayoune-Dakhla, will also see increased frequencies. These routes will now see four frequencies per week. The Tetouan-Al Hoceima route’s program will maintain two flights per week. Royal Air Maroc’s domestic flights program adds to that of Air Arabia Morocco, which also resumed its domestic flights on June 25. The Emirati low-cost company resumed its domestic flight activity with only 14 air connections to and from seven major cities. These include Agadir, Dakhla, Fez, Marrakech, Nador, Rabat, and Tangier. Both companies pledged total compliance with the sanitary measures that Moroccan health authorities have implemented. Air Arabia Morocco informed its customers that “they are required to obtain a professional authorization (mission order) or an authorization issued by the local authorities in the event of movement between the two zones.” Read also: Royal Air Maroc Customers Denounce ‘Scandalous’ Booking Practices The post Royal Air Maroc Expands Domestic Flights Program appeared first on Morocco World News.
